Tennessee Titans guard Leroy Harris said he's closer to being healthy now than Monday. But Harris, who sustained a sprained ankle this past Sunday in a loss to the Denver Broncos, missed a second consecutive day of practice Thursday and said he doesn't know his status for Sunday.
The Titans will visit Dallas Sunday.
"Of course I want to play," Harris told Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean Thursday. "But I am going to let Coach (Jeff) Fisher make that decision. They'll watch me and see how I look on Friday. But it is night and day compared to how it was earlier in the week. It's not even close."
If Harris can't play, Fernando Velasco likely will start, Wyatt wrote, adding that Harris hasn't worn a boot this week and didn't appear to be limping Thursday.
