Rapper Birdman's Claims of Pending Dolphins Ownership News to NFL

Birdman, a rapper and record executive whose legal name is Bryan Williams, told a nationally syndicated radio show that he was awaiting NFL approval to become the latest minority owner for the Miami Dolphins.

There's only one problem -- the NFL isn't aware of any such situation. A spokesman with the league told The Miami Herald that the NFL has "no knowledge" of the ownership claim.

Before the NFL's response to the claim, a pair of Dolphins commented on Birdman's potential as an owner.
