Tony Romo Engaged to Candice Crawford

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo has been in and out of gossip headlines for the past few years now for his relationships with noteworthy women. Now the headlines can focus on just one woman.

The currently injured star quarterback decided to pop the big question to girlfriend Candice Crawford on Thursday night. The quarterback proposed to Crawford at Five Sixty in Dallas, according to KDAF TV in Dallas (you can check the rock out there), for whom Crawford, the younger sister of "Gossip Girl" actor Chace Crawford, works as a reporter. Crawford is also a former beauty queen, having won the Miss Missouri USA crown in 2008 and competed in the Miss USA pageant. The couple's engagement was reported by TMZ, as well.

The two were celebrating Crawford's 24th birthday when she said yes.

The quarterback previously made tabloid headlines when dating old flame, singer and actress Jessica Simpson.
