Jets Offer to Host Eight-Year-Old Allegedly Assaulted by Browns Fan

The eight-year-old Jets fan who was allegedly tackled by an adult Browns fan after their game in Cleveland Sunday got an invitation from the Jets to attend a home game in response.

According to the team, the family was contacted Wednesday. They were offered a flight to New York, seats in a suite and autographed items from the team, but the family for some reason declined.

The Browns also offered "anything we can do" after the incident.

According to the boy's mother, everything went fine at the game, but in the parking lot after Cleveland's overtime loss people started throwing food and shouting profanities at them.
